Researchers working at the Korean Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST) have created a pair of robotic legs that will allow paralysed humans to walk again for the first time.  Eerily, the cyber-trousers can be summoned remotely Wallace & Gromit-style, and will walk to the user so they can be accessed.  The WalkON F1 v.4 suit has been in different stages of development since 2015, and this month Seunghwan Kim, a paralysed researcher from the KAIST laboratory team, will compete in a cyber-Olympics to put the F1 prototype suit - literally - through its paces.
